My journey to the stage

As i update you on my journey I can say what a journey this is. It's been quite a few weeks of learning how to adjust my Macro-nutrients, getting used to EARLY morning fasted cardio, a new work schedule, and organizing my life. In short it's been quite a Challenge lol, But I love the challenge. Along my journey in life I have learned that if it doesn't challenge you it doesn't change you and get out of your comfort zone! I am guilty all to often in my life of falling into that comfort zone and allowing the self pity monster to get the best of me, Well Not this time...Not this Girl! Everyday I feel a little stronger, physically, mentally, and a highened self confidence. No stopping now, so later today I will step out of my comfort zone and post pics, this will be the 13 weeks out start, then weekly I will update with new pics. So you all are my accountability. What is yours? Do you have a goal?

Without a goal we stay in out comfort zone! So Get out of it! I know it's easier said then done but I believe in you, remember you are worth it. Everyday just be a little better than you were yesterday and you will arrive at the desired goal, faster than you realize.

Wellness Wednesday

Happy Wellness Wednesday, for some of us it's digging out of the snow.  You know this cold weather wreaks havoc on my skin! Well I heard about this new vitamin from Japanese woman called Lipowheat.  Lipowheat is supposed to help hydrate your skin from the inside.  Another lil tip was to take Collagen supplements for the wrinkles, plumping of the skin, and pore size.  Basically nourishing and replenishing internally.  Of course I ran out and bought both of these things immediately and started taking them.  After 5 days I can say my skin is a little less dry, my crows feet a little less noticeable and the puffiness under the eye area is almost gone completely.  

I'm not saying they are a miracle supplement but I do believe nourishing it from good, natural sources.  We will have to check back after a month with some natural before and after pics. ;)

Client Spotlight

I have to Shout out my girl/client/friend for her amazing journey.  Tanya has been busting her but for the past year with me and as we Embark into our second year together I am so blessed to be a part of her journey.  Tanya has lost 20 lbs, 7.5% body fat and 16 inches total. 

Nothing brings me more fulfillment then being a part of someone achieving their goals.  We all have good days and bad days...sometimes we fall down but it's not how we fall it's how we get back up!

Beginning my journey to the NPC Stage

I'm beginning my journey to compete as an NPC Bikini Competitor.  I have always loved fitness and wanted to compete but I let Fear get in the way.  Well not anymore!  

I will be turning 40 in August, so my mindset has dramatically changed over the past year.  I'm not sure if it's OMG 40 and I have not done some of the things  I thought I would do by now or oh crap I'm running out of time.  Probably a little of both lol.

Today was meal prepping and planning, my Amazing FiancĂ© embarked on this journey with me and helped with the number calculations and making the spreadsheet, while I cooked and measured the food.  Last week I thought we were going to die lol and rip each other's heads off. But this week went soooo much smoother.  We make a great Team! Hopefully next week we will be right on.  

Well I'm exhausted and 5:30 comes very early. Stay tuned as I blog my journey.
